12 participants representing 6 adult education centers (vhs) from Baden-Württemberg had an excellent start of a process to establish sustainability strategies in their adult education centers. The ERASMUS+ mobility was used to establish a common understanding of sustainability in the context of adult education. The SMALEI matrix was introduced and will form the basis of the sustainability processes in vhs schools in Baden-Württemberg. Furthermore, the staff members and teachers experienced biodiversity on the mountain “Pfände” with pulswerk.at, learned about the “turn to zero” activities of Hotel Schwärzler Bregenz and discovered ecological facts and phenomena in the interactive exhibition and outdoor learning environment of the museum Inatura in Dornbirn.
